octoplant 101.3.0 
now available

Today we present the new update - octoplant 101.3.0. AUVESY-MDT customers can download the new version from my.auvesy-mdt.com. Here are the most important highlights:

  • Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) via OpenID connect/Open Authentication 2.0 (OIDC/OAuth 2.0): Enables compliance with high-security requirements. 
     
  • Siemens TIA Portal Performance Boost: The performance of TIA Portal backups has been optimized by an average factor of 8 for versioning and up to a factor of 16 for job execution. You can learn more here (PDF Download). The new release also supports TIA v19.
     
  • Additional Devices and Editors: 
    • Siemens WinCC Unified: Compare support for TIA Portal Compare.
    • AVEVA SP 2020 & 2023: Support Upload and Compare.
    • ABB AC500: Support Upload with CODESYS V3 protocol.
    • Emerson PME v10 is supported.
    • Beckhoff TwinCAT: Support for encrypted projects.
    • Omron Sysmac Studio: Support Asset inventory.
    • Omron CX Programmer: Support Asset inventory. 
       
  • New features in octoplant pro hub:
    • Job Coverage Dashboard: We have improved the Job Coverage Dashboard based on customer feedback, which provides a better overview of covered components and jobs on the shop floor.
    • Improved tenant management: For faster processing of customer inquiries.
    • Data Hosting: Data can be hosted in an MS Azure data center in the USA.

End-of-life WebClient 
for octoplant and versiondog

With the current release, the WebClient for versiondog and octoplant will be discontinued to increase product security. Information on the plant status can now be retrieved via an export in the export module. The core functionalities of the WebClient will be made available in octoplant pro hub in future.
